Bio and Workshop Information:

Josie Tipler has been creating and selling art since 1982 and exhibiting since 2000. She is constantly

trying new media, techniques, subjects and styles and has tutored through schools, colleges and art

groups and has some tutorials online.

During the Experimenting with Acrylics workshops we will look at using acrylics with a variety of

different mediums including pastels (soft and oil), pencils, acrylic inks and felt pens.

Currently concentrating on re-using and recycling in art, Josie will be working on cardboard from

packing boxes and encourages you to bring along any such materials that you have:

• dried up felt pens, any unused materials at the back of your art cupboards,
• colours you don’t regularly use,
• scrap card and paper.

The emphasis is on Experimenting!
