I am a third generation artist, I follow in the footsteps of my grandfather and
mum. My grandfather painted flamboyantly in oils from retirement until his
death aged 80, My mum was an accomplished and well respected water
colour artist until her death aged 81. I first began painting in oils when I
wanted a picture of my lovely lurcher, I had lots of photos of him but none
were quite good enough, so I decided to have a go at doing a painting of
him! It turned out really well and I had got the bug. My first love in painting
is wildlife, I get so excited when I see an image or scene of animals, I just
can’t wait to start painting it!
