With grateful Thanks to our Demonstrators

September 5th 2020

Hey we made it  and after what seems an eon we managed a Socially Distanced and Sanitised meeting.

Our very own Mickie Sutcliffe treated the attendees to a demonstration of the textural possibilities of 'Pebeo' Vitrial paint.

Beyond the traditional stained glass effects, Pébéo’s Vitrail range takes you into a world where it is possible to design intense creations, capable of moving under the eye of the observer.

Although limited to only 30 people in the hall, the event was thoroughly enjoyed by those that braved this strange new world.

A big THANK YOU to the committee members for all the sanitising before and after the meeting thus keeping the Hall Open.

March 2020 a different time and a demonstration from Josie Tipler who kindly stepped in at short notice bringing us an expert demonstration using Chalk Pastel, oil Pastel, Acrylic Paint and Ink.

Josie showed us how to use Oil Pastel for shiny objects and Soft Chalk Pastel for matt, and how using Acrylic Paint for highlights as well as pencil for definition. Also the usefulness of an electric rubber to create sharp edges in her rather complex interesting Still Life.

Don't you love that SHINY Beer Bottle?

Thank You Josie.
